作者 加埃尔·法伊，作家、歌手兼词曲作者。一九八二年生于布隆迪，父亲是法国人，母亲是卢旺达人。一九九五年因卢旺达内战移居法国。曾在金融业工作，后辞职全身心投入写作和音乐。《小小国》是他的小说处女作，一经推出便广受好评，并获得多个文学奖项。 译者 张怡，北京大学法语系博士研究生，从事法国文学研究及翻译工作，译作有《他者的智慧》《拉比的猫》等。
